5 Stages Of Strength Adaptation in Triathlon

It often goes like this:

A triathlete overhears that the strength training can make him faster and stronger.

Better, he asks his mate, who was crushing last season, ”what’s your secret?”
”Strength training buddy!” – he hears the answer.

So he starts his own routine, goes to the gym, hires pt.

Unfortunately, most of the programs out there aren’t good for our sport. They will cover anatomical and hypertrophy, and maybe, only if you are lucky, max strength phase.

But it is not enough for us!
We need all 5 stages to make it work for a triathlon!

At this moment, we are in the maintenance phase. It is crucial that you still work on your strength. Otherwise, you will lose all the gains. I am not scaremongering, it is just facts, and I want to help you become the best athlete possible.
